When is the best time trek to the Everest Base Camp in Nepal ?

The best time to trek the Everest Base Camp trail or anywhere else in the Himalayas for that matter is either in April, March and May (Spring) or mid-September October and November (Autumn) the best time to hike the Everest Base Camp Trek in Nepal. End of September to be monsoon and post-monsoon season respectively. There is a minimum chance of rain and the colors of the season are in full swing at these periods.

We did the trek in late September - October 2019 and It rained on us only once in my entire 12 days period which is more than I could hope for. The temperature during the day is very warm when the sun is out but it goes down rapidly when the sun disappears to almost -20°C at night, so make sure you prepare accordingly. The spring season than autumn season very cold but most of the trekkers enjoy and appear the good scenery during the trek. In October is the best time to the Everest Base Camp Trek because of flavor by everything as weather, flight, scenery, and foods but within October too busy on the Everest Base Camp Trail.
